Job Description
We’re looking for someone in their first to third year of their electrical apprenticeship to work with us in the Muskoka and Parry Sound region. While most of this work occurs during the weekday, some evening and weekend work may also be required.
What you’ll do
* Install, connect and integrate electrical systems, power supply wiring, cables, conduit and electrical apparatus in new and existing buildings.
* Perform general systems checks and ensure work meets or exceeds Ontario electrical safety standards.
* Communicate with managers, colleagues and customers to provide project status updates.
* Identify, troubleshoot and present technical issues and possible solutions clearly and concisely.
* Complete work orders on time with accuracy and commission equipment.
Other work-related duties as assigned.

Requirements
* Eager to learn and gain practical hands-on work experience.
* Strong knowledge of the Ontario Electrical Code.
* Able to work in confined spaces or significant heights.
* Effective written and verbal communication skills.
* Committed, reliable, resourceful and able to take and follow directions.
* Punctual, organized and able to operate tools and equipment safely.
Able to lift weights reaching 50lbs, carry weights reaching 40lbs, and push and pull weights reaching 100-150lbs.

Experience and requirements
* Valid Ontario driver’s license with a good driving record
Safety certified for working in construction (WAH, WHMIS, Workers Health & Safety)

Salary based on apprenticeship level, competencies achieved, and hours accumulated.
