Our company, Intricco Controls & Automation Ltd. is currently recruiting for a Senior Panel Builder in the GTA that can bring in value and be a part of our growing team. In this role, you will be working within a team throughout the lifecycle of small and large scale electrical control systems. For this position, the work will be performed mainly in the shop and at customer sites.
Job Summary
* Leading, instructing, and delegating tasks to team members
* Develop controls designs and electrical schematics; specifying hardware and components
* Developing and verifying safety systems; understanding safety risk assessments
* Standard panel layout & assembly
* Integrating Intriccos labeling method to create wire, terminal and component tags
* Receiving, organizing, and managing inventory

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
* Read/write electrical and electronic schematics/diagrams, basic hydraulic and pneumatic diagrams
* Assist customers and/or co-workers with electrical issues
* Assist with specifications for purchase of electrical components
* Kitting
* Receiving
* Design Verification
* Estimation of hours for panels / wiring
* Guiding Shop personnel on how to do specific tasks
* Verification of work done by other shop staff
* Inventory / Stock
* Maintenance & condition of shop
* Maintenance of vehicles
* Final assembly; panel and door installation, paint surface inspection, and panel and door alignment.
Requirements & Qualifications:
* Perform basic wiring work and general installations; identify causes of problems while developing methods of correction
* Hands-on experience applying electronics, pneumatics and electro-mechanical devices is a must
* Understanding of VFD, DC and Servo Drive systems
* Lift up to 40 lbs; work overtime and weekends if required
* Hold a valid Canadian driver's license with a good driving record
* Solid technical communication skills and able to work with minimal supervision
Education & Work Experience
* High school diploma or equivalent
* MUST have 7 -10 years of experience with panel building/wiring
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $28.00-$41.00 per hour
