Job Description

Position: Amazon Account Executive Department: Sales Reports to: CEO Role: The Amazon Account Executive will be a results-oriented and consultative member of the Canopy Management sales team. They will identify and qualify potential brands selling on Amazon to determine if their business needs align with Canopy Management's suite of Amazon channel management services. Responsibilities: * Prospecting and Lead Generation: * Utilize various strategies (e.g., cold calling, trade shows, social media) to identify and generate leads of prospective Amazon brand owners. * Research and qualify leads based on pre-defined criteria (e.g., product category, sales volume, growth potential). * Building Relationships and Qualifying Leads: * Develop and maintain positive relationships with potential brand owners. * Conduct discovery call to understand their current Amazon operations and challenges. * Qualify leads by determining their fit for Canopy Management's services based on their specific goals and needs as well as sales volume. * Sales Presentations and Proposals: * Work closely with the data analysis team to understand the brand’s needs, the niche’s competitive landscape, and growth opportunities for the brand. * Deliver compelling Amazon brand Plan showcasing Canopy Management's Amazon channel management services and the potential growth opportunities for the brand. * Answer questions and address concerns throughout the sales process. * Collaboration: * Work closely with the service teams to ensure a smooth transition for qualified leads converting into clients. Results: * Achieve monthly/quarterly quotas for qualified leads and new client acquisition. * Develop strong relationships with potential clients, leading to a high conversion rate from lead to closed deal. * Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling additional Canopy Management services. * Contribute to the team's overall sales goals and objectives. Requirements: * Minimum 2+ years of experience in B2B sales, preferably within the e-commerce industry. * Strong understanding of the Amazon marketplace and Amazon advertising platform. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with potential clients. * Proven ability to qualify leads, identify client needs, and deliver effective sales presentations. * Proficiency in CRM software and sales tools. * A self-motivated and results-oriented individual with a strong work ethic. Additional Notes: * Knowledge of Amazon Seller Central and Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) is strongly preferred. * Experience with Amazon Advertising (PPC) is highly desirable. * Analytical thinking and data-driven approach to sales is preferred.
