Job Summary:
The Electrical Engineer/Developer 2 applies practical knowledge with independence to solve technical problems and produce designs within electrical, electronics and hardware systems for your internal and external customers.
Responsibilities:
The Engineer/Developer 2 will solve technical problems and produces innovative design ideas. They will execute testing and produce test reports with recommendations. They will consistently produces documentation, descriptions, BOMs, schematics and CAD drawings in support of electronic equipment for the mobile equipment industry.
The Engineer/Developer 2 will work with purchasing or production team to assist with design and product selection, including understanding new potential vendor products and how they might fit our systems overall, interacts with vendors to find design solutions, adhere to companywide and department specific technical and safety guidelines, practice lean manufacturing skills including maintain 5-S workplace and research equipment for the mobile equipment industry.
Education & Experience:
* Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technologist Diploma, preferably Mechanical or Electronic Engineering or equivalent work experience.
* Experience with Microsoft Office
* Working knowledge of CAD, Schematic/PCB development tools, preference to experience with Altium
* Design knowledge for EMI and EMC
* Minimum 3 years of work-related experience

Pay: $67,000.00-$74,000.00 per year
