E&I Foreman
Scovan is looking for an E&I Foreman to join our team in Ponoka immediately! This position offers stable, full-time hours with an opportunity to grow and learn from our hard-working team! As the E&I Foreman, you will be a vital member of the company’s continuous development and will maintain a professional and safe work environment.
Responsibilities:
* Work under the direct supervision of the Superintendent.
* Ensure workers are following safe work practices and procedures.
* Direct work with the help of a lead hand to the E&I crew.
* Layout and plan work fronts for the E&I crew in advance.
* Understand the specific Scope of Work.
* Interpret and implement client specifications, drawings, installation details, and code requirements.
* Translate drawing packages into material take-offs and submit to Procurement and ensure the project has the materials required to complete the project.
* Meet budget and schedule targets.
* Report manpower requirements and worker progress to the Superintendent.
* Submit daily progress reports.
* Quality assurance of executed work completed.
* Layout and plan work fronts for the E&I crew.
* Work on the tools when required.
Qualifications:
* Minimum 5 years of experience as an Electrician in the oil and gas industry
* Must have WHMIS, CSTS-20, Fall Pro and AWP Certifications
* Previous experience in a leadership/foreman/supervisor role
* Experience in an industrial environment
* Excellent organizational, and communication skills
* Excellent interpersonal and team-building skills
* Valid journeyman or inter-provincial certification is required
* Experience with computers
* ExcelOutlookBlue Beam or Adobe
* Details:
* Full-time hours - Typical shift is Monday to Thursday, 10 hours per day.
* Shifts may vary based on workload requirements.
* All work is completed in our industrial module yard in Ponoka, Alberta.
* No LOA or travel allowance provided.
