What you will be doing in the role of Electrical Assembly Labourer:
Your responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
* Printing of labels (lamacoid and stainless steel)
* Weekly inventory counts and order coordination of shop consumables
* Review cleaning and painting supply draws.
* Deeper housekeeping tasks
* Wire cuttings, DIN cuttings, Ground Bar cuttings, review (look for opportunities to recycle “scrap” internally)
* Organizing left over parts inventory
* Help with shipping preparation QA/QC – wiping cleaning and taking pictures of the cabinets.
* Communication – act as liaison between electrical assembly technician and other departments
* Support in any ad-hoc tasks that contribute to the smooth functioning of the fabrication shop.
Knowledge and skills required for the role:
* High school diploma required
* 1+ years of experience working in an industrial shop or shipping/warehouse environment
* Knowledge of health and safety regulations and quality assurance
* Computer literacy
* Competency with basic shop tools
* Experience working with forklifts
