Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Designer to join our team. As an Electrical Designer, you will be responsible for creating electrical design drawings and specifications for various projects. You will work closely with engineers and other team members to ensure accurate and efficient electrical designs.
Responsibilities:
- Develop electrical design drawings using software such as AutoCAD
- Collaborate with engineers to understand project requirements and objectives
- Create electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and panel layouts
- Perform calculations to determine electrical loads, voltage drop, and circuit sizing
- Review and interpret technical specifications and codes
- Coordinate with other disciplines to ensure proper integration of electrical systems
- Assist in the preparation of project proposals and cost estimates
- Participate in project meetings and provide input on design-related matters
- Conduct site visits to gather information and verify existing conditions
Skills:
- 3-5 years' experience in a similar position
-Proficiency in AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and other relevant design software
- Strong knowledge of CAD drafting principles and practices
- Understanding of electrical engineering principles and concepts
- Knowledge of electrical wiring standards and codes
- Experience working with logic controllers is a plus
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in design work
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team

Pay: $75,000.00-$110,000.00 per year
