Job Description
LYN Group is looking for Electrical Engineer P.Eng experienced in industrial projects with following qualifications and responsibilities,
* Bachelor's or Master's Degree in electrical engineering.
* Registered as a professional engineer in Ontario.
* Minimum 5 years experience in industrial control system designing, HMI/SCADA design and panel building.
* Minimum 5 years experience in engineering design, studies and analyses such as LV/MV switchgear, MCC, short circuit, ground grid and bonding design, arc-flash studies, protective device coordination, etc.
* Experience with FAT and SAT's
* Must be able to provide designs for cable tray layouts, electrical equipment, lighting layouts and LV single line diagrams.
* Must be able to participate in project meetings and provide updates on project progress.
* Must have understanding of electrical principals, digital and analog electronics, power distribution, control systems and instrumentation.
* Must be able to preform site visits to either price new work or direct and coordinate electrical planning and implementations ensuring compliance with specifications, codes and work order requirements.
* Must be able to manage several projects simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
* Must have the ability to act with business integrity and professionalism.
* Must be a leader to junior engineers and technicians.
* Must have AutoCAD experience.
* Must have very good understanding and knowledge of Ontario Electrical Codes.
* Must be excellent in Microsoft Office like Excel and Word.
* Very good verbal and communication skills.
* Organizational skills.
* Critical thinking.
