Salson is Hiring Sr Electrical Foreman
A Foremen is responsible for installing electrical systems in accordance with current electrical codes, able to operate a crew of 5 +. Able to complete projects in a timely manner while keeping the job site safe and clean following all health and safety guidelines. The candidate must be positive, communicative and maintain a professional and positive atmosphere on all job sites.
Qualifications
* English (Required)
* Supervising/Foreman: 5 years on $500,000 + Projects in Canada (Required)
* 309-A Electrician Construction-Maintenance License
* Completed Electrical Apprenticeship in Canada
* Basic First Aid/CPR Certificate, WHMIS (Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System), Ministry of Labour on-line certificate on Occupational Health and Safety and Working at Heights certification.
DUTIES
* Be accountable for the project assigned.
* Participate in weekly Foreman Meetings
* Coordinate tasks according to priorities and plans
* Produce schedules and monitor crew attendance
* Allocate general and daily responsibilities
* Supervise and train team members
* Supervise sub-contractors and be accountable for them.
* Ensure workforce and resources are adequate.
* Meet all safety protocols and quality standards
* Supervise the use of machinery and equipment
* Meet schedule demands
* Organize and secure site material and project tools to ensure maximum efficiency and loss prevention
* Manage material requirements and place orders
* Resolve problems when they arise
* Be Familiar with Fire alarm/ Data & Security Access control requirements.
* Install electrical per specifications and Electrical Safety Authority Code
* Perform other duties as assigned
EXPERIENCE and SKILLS
* Minimum 5-year proven experience as a Electrical construction site Foreman.
* In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, equipment and safety guidelines
* Excellent understanding of electrical systems such as power distribution, fire alarm, generator installations, lighting controls and similar
* Ability to read drawings, plans and blueprints
* Excellent organizational and leadership skills
* Ability to communicate and report effectively
* Problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
* Able to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal
* Able to manage multiple projects and schedules, at times simultaneously

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45.00-$55.00 per hour
