Job Description
QUALIFIED CANDIDATES WILL:
* Installation and bending of conduit
* Installation of EHT
* Installation of cable tray
* Cable Pulls, Grounding and Terminations
* Proper use of Aerial Work Platforms
* Ability to work independently, while maintaining excellent communication and professionalism for all customers
* Proven ability to demonstrate problem solving and good judgment in response to unexpected problems
* Be an advocate for all matter’s safety related, provide feedback for pre-job hazard assessments, report safety discrepancies and suggest solutions
YOU HAVE:
* Previous electrical experience
* industrial setting preferred
* The preferred candidate will come with previous experience installing MI EHT and Cable Tray
* Active Alberta Apprenticeship, as recognized by Alberta Industry Training (AIT) or a willingness to indenture
* All valid safety tickets, as recognized by OSSA:
* Standard First Aid
* CSTS 2020
* WHMIS 2015
* Aerial Work Platform (AWP) or Mobile Elevated Work Platform (MEWP)
* Fall Protection
* H2S Alive
* Valid Driver’s License, non GDL
All employment with Iconic Electric and Controls will be subject to satisfactory Drug & Alcohol, Audiometric and Fit for Work (50 lbs) pre-screening.
