The Role:
The Electrical Assembler is responsible for assembling and installing our innovative piezoelectric tiles and systems in a workshop setting. This role is crucial in ensuring that all components meet our rigorous standards for quality and efficiency.
This is a full-time position on the day shift:
Monday – Friday: 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Responsibilities:
* Assemble, test, and package piezoelectric energy systems using detailed assembly instructions and blueprints.
* Collaborate with engineers to identify and resolve assembly issues, ensuring technical specifications and quality standards are met.
* Conduct electrical and mechanical testing of components to ensure functionality and efficiency.
* Maintain documentation of assembly procedures and modifications for continuous improvement and compliance.
* Manage inventory of assembly parts and supplies, maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
* Adhere to all company safety policies and actively participate in workplace safety initiatives.
Qualifications:
* 1-3 years of experience in electrical assembly, preferably with exposure to innovative energy systems.
* Technical diploma or certification in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
* Proficient in reading and interpreting technical documents such as blueprints and electrical schematics.
* Familiarity with the Canadian Electrical Code and other relevant safety standards.
* Exceptional manual dexterity and the ability to use hand and power tools accurately.
* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

* IPC-A-610 (Acceptability of Electronic Assemblies) and IPC J-STD-001 (Requirements for Soldered Electrical and Electronic Assemblies) (preferred)
