About the Team Our Ad Operations Program Manager is essential to enabling flawless ad campaign executions, ensuring an optimized experience for both our users and brand partners. This team lends their technical and operational know how to help better support and inform our sales and planning teams, our clients, and our product teams, ensuring we continue to offer best-in-class platform capabilities for brands of all sizes. We are looking for an Ad Operations Program Manager who can jump in and cover a wide range of technical responsibilities, from coordinating cross-functionally to trafficking campaigns, quarterbacking the campaign reservation process and managing ad hoc operational needs that surface sometimes with short notice. This person should be a technical problem solver, willing and eager to operate in ambiguous and changing environments and interested in working collaboratively to support our evolving ad platform. Responsibilities * Own or assist ad campaign setup, campaign management, and reporting for reservation and auction managed service campaigns. * Monitor self-serve campaign delivery to ensure campaigns reach the target audience, run smoothly, and exceed brands’ expectations; this includes collaborating with teams on creative approvals, troubleshooting issues, managing scheduled and ad hoc report requests, and escalating issues to internal and external teams. * Provide input to clients on effective campaign setup including tagging, targeting, and ad formats. * Serve as the key point of contact and support for Client Solutions in technical client communications. * Troubleshoot, escalate and remediate technical platform issues in partnership with Product and Engineering support teams. * Create, organize and distribute technical/operational product documentation to support Product, Strategy and Operations (PSO) in general ad platform and feature walk-throughs. * Project manage client requests related to reporting, billing or new country expansion. * Participate in training that prepares internal teams for new products and updates within our ads platform. * Partner with Sales, Client Solutions and PSO to collect customer feedback and identify opportunities to improve our products and services. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications * Minimum 2 years of Ad Operations or technical client service experience * Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to effectively translate technical language to non-technical stakeholders * Experience managing branding & performance-based advertisers with a deep understanding of their challenges, helping clients execute custom campaigns centered around specific performance KPIs * Experience with ad verification, viewability, and impression tracking partners (IAS, DV, DCM, MOAT) Preferred Qualifications * Familiarity with self-serve and auction ad platforms a plus * Able to proactively troubleshoot and problem solve quickly and through the proper escalation process, identifying insights and analyzing data to assess campaign performance * Detail-oriented with a strong capacity to manage multiple projects for a variety of internal and external stakeholders * A self-starter mentality with a keen eye for detail that thrives in a fast-paced and collaborative work environment TikTok is committed to creating an inclusive space where employees are valued for their skills, experiences, and unique perspectives. Job Information The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $67000 - $85000 annually. Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
