Job Overview
We are looking for technicians specialized in electronic repairs to the component level.
Roles & Responsibilities
* Troubleshooting and repairing electronic equipment to the component level (e.g., AC to DC rectifiers and power supplies).
* Troubleshooting and repairing telecom equipment (e.g., RF power amplifiers, transmitters, receivers).
Required Skills
* Experience in component level repairs with or without the use of schematic diagrams.
* Ability to use various test equipment for troubleshooting and testing: multimeter, oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer.
* Ability to use de-soldering and soldering tools for through hole and SMD components.
* Ability to perform troubleshooting and repairs with or without the use of schematic diagrams.
* Good knowledge of low and intermediate power converters, power supplies and inverters.
* Experience repairing routers and switches would be an asset.
Candidate Profile and Attitude
* Good manual skills and dexterity, resourcefulness, autonomy, precision, thoroughness.
* Self-discipline
Education & Training:
* Diploma of professional studies (DEP) in electronics or telecommunications, or
* Diploma of Collegial Studies (DEC) or similar.
Location: Lachine, Quebec
