Job Description
As a Senior Business Analyst, you will lead the development of business requirements, business artefacts and user requirement gathering processes to support IP Australia’s strategic objectives, including the evaluation of commercial software or state of the market, or requirement analysis to identify opportunities for innovation.
Position duties
As a Senior Business Analyst, you will:Engage with business stakeholders to understand their needs and express these as user stories and requirementsConduct research and in-depth analysis of existing business processes, data and products.Collaborate with subject matter experts, end users, product owners, architects, developers, database administrators and testers to design and deliver solutionsProactively apply a continuous improvement approach through enhancement and implementation of services, aligned to Agile and DevOps practicesSupport the team’s Delivery Managers to deliver outcomesContribute to and assist in driving priority planning, sprint planning and delivery planningBe part of a progressive and modern delivery team responsible for transforming IP Australia’s digital services and delivering innovative customer-centric solutionsDemonstrate attitudes and behaviours responsive to workplace change (including participating in and encouragement of others to participate in change and contribute to successful outcomes)Improve organisational performance through effective engagement with and management of risk within the relevant sphere of influence.
