About The Role
This is an exceptional opportunity for an individual who enjoys arboriculture and who takes pride in their work to join Bayside. It includes a range of planned and reactive arboricultural, horticultural, machine operations and related traffic management activities for Council’s parks and open space assets.
The role is also responsible for supporting the senior operations technician staff on site to ensure completion of all allocated work.

Action work requests or programsReport any identified work request variations to the Senior Operation Technician or Team Leader to ensure Council parks and open space assets are well maintained.Provide feedback and contribute to team processes to improve service delivery, safety and compliance. Work in collaboration with and assist the team to achieve business unit goals, work requests, demands and Council priorities.
About You
We are looking for someone who has the following background and expertise:
Experience or willingness to learn about arboriculture.In addition, you will also have experience or willing to obtain certification in chainsaw/chipper operations. A SafeWork NSW white card (general construction induction card). Current Driver’s Licence Class C. Current MR Licence desirable.
