The Sales Support Co-ordinator is responsible for providing travel agents’ quality reservations support, booking systems and a consistent flow of useful information. You will organise communications, marketing, training and merchandise for our agent community. Additionally, you will provide support for sales managers and executives in Australia and New Zealand utilising high standard communication.
The Core Responsibilities of this role are:Ensure Jetstar.com travel agent web pages, flyers, banners, and other collateral is kept up to date with latest informationCo-ordinate ad placements in travel mediaCo-ordinate travel agent incentive campaign including competitions, prizes, familiarisation tripsStay informed about changes in the business and prepare relevant external communications, to ensure our agent community are kept informedMaintain schedule of send dates and topics in our travel agent communications calendarWork with legal, communications and marketing teams to draft, refine, approve and distribute commsParticipate in cross functional projects and communicate necessary updates internally within sales and to our agent partnersProcess regular commission reportingAssist with preparations for agency partner business reviewsAssist with system user audits and reconciliation of sales accounts
To be considered for this role, you will need:High level of comfort working in service and support systems, e.g. salesforce, reservation systemsCustomer/client facing experience desired, at minimum the successful candidate will pride themselves on delivering quality service Experience drafting training materials, presentations, newsletters, etc Experience planning and running functions, competitions. Experience providing high standard of customer serviceSales and/or agency/industry support at an airline or travel company and/or related tertiary qualification would be held in high regardWorking in a fast-paced environment across distributed teams and a broad stakeholder groupSuperior written and verbal communication skillsUnderstanding of AU NZ travel agent landscape Proficient in MS Powerpoint, Excel and WordStrong drive, initiative, ability to multi-task and work to tight deadlines
