Located in Nowra is a quality new home builder who is committed to providing the highest level of customer service to their customers. Due to the steady growth of our business we are now seeking a dynamic organised individual who is keen to take control of our office administration function.The Position:This position would suit someone who is looking for an opportunity to show your range of administration skills.Manage the set process in driving the home through from deposit to site start.We will provide training to assist in your growth in becoming the central ‘go to’ person in our office.Previous administration knowledge in the construction or real estate industry, will be looked upon favorably but not essential.This role will require a confident person with interpersonal skills and a willingness to work in a team environment to help us build the perfect home for our clients.This is a full-time position, however we would certainly consider a part time variation of the role for the right candidate.
Job tasks and responsibilitiesGeneral reception duties, greeting clients and answering and dealing with incoming calls and emails in a timely manner.Coordinate Colour Selection meetings with Customers and then process and finalise the Colour Selection document.Applying and following up for Planning & Building permits.Liaise with banks for our customers to follow up their approvals. Apply for gas, electricity, dial before you dig & water/sewer quotes.Process and prepare Building Contract DocumentsMaintain maintenance letters and co-ordinate service callsPrepare Colour Packs for Sales Staff.Responsible for the ordering of Stationery and attend to banking and mail collection.Maintain stock of cleaning products and ensure Office and Colour Selection rooms are kept in a clean, neat & tidy manner.General Filing and other sundry general Administrative Duties as required. Skills and experienceAbility to be a fast learner ie show initiative, learn from other established franchised businesses.Work efficiently in a fast paced office environment.Good communication skills and ability to liaise with clients.Ability to be punctual, work unsupervised and be accountable for own work.Be an enthusiast, pro-active worker who is happy to take on any task.Excellent personal presentation, have pride in wearing your uniform.Previous work experience in a similar role and/or the residential building industry will be highly regarded.Have excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to self-check work.Sound proficiency in the use of computers and applications and Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.Be prepared to work in a team environment, take instructions and work to deadlines.
