About The Role
We have an exciting Team Member opportunity to join our Canon Business Services team that supports our financial services company client. You will be based in our client’s site in South Melbourne. This 12-month maximum term role acts as the first point of contact for all external and internal calls, you will play a vital role ensuring queries and concerns are redirected to correct department. As a highly reliable team member with a positive can-do attitude, you will utilize your keen eye for detail, excellent communication skills, good level computer literacy skills to perform efficient switchboard and general mailroom duties.
Main Duties
Handle internal/external calls Dealing with customer enquiries Maintain the switchboard databases Mail sorting and distribution Mail and courier pickups and deliveries to various points in multiple sites Courier bookings and lodgements with various courier companies Maintain office equipment, office supplies and stationery Light cleaning duties General administrative duties Some heavy lifting may be involved
Key Requirements
Strong communication skills and a focus on delivering exceptional customer service. Must have previous mailroom experience. Excellent computer skills in using Microsoft Word, MS Excel, and Internet Explorer High level of attention to detail and excellent time management skills Must be able to work autonomously. Punctual, reliable, and hardworking Strong organizational and time management skills Working hours will be 38 hours per week (Monday to Friday only)
