Salary – $106,025.00 - $117,363.00 plus superannuation
Your role
The Social Media Officer is ideas-driven and enthusiastic, with an understanding of the diverse community that DCJ serves, and assists with content creation, community management and campaign reports for the DCJ’s social media channels.
Key to this role is to build strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders ensuring DCJ services are reaching a wide social media audience (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, X).
What You’ll Do
Assist in managing DCJ’s social media channels, including posting and moderation to create an exceptional audience experience and mitigate any potential reputational risks. Develop and deliver organic social content, including ideation, planning, copywriting, testing, design, reels, and photo production to create informative and engaging content. Report on social media performance metrics to optimise content, increase audience engagement and provide advice to stakeholders on social media best-practice. Monitor trends in the social media landscape to help with organic social media content creation.
What We’re Looking For
Demonstrated in-depth understanding of industry-leading social media platforms including Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok and X and their use as strategic communication and engagement tools in a complex environment. Tertiary qualifications in media/communications/digital and social media marketing and/or equivalent knowledge, skills and experience with demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development.
