Zaparas is an innovative and forward-looking legal practice dedicated to providing exceptional legal services, supporting our clients when they need it most.
To support our continued growth we are seeking an Events Coordinator for busy and fast-paced role. You will collaborate with the Business Development and Marketing teams to coordinate and enhance the firm’s events calendar and business development activities.
Key responsibilities:Coordinate and manage events, seminars, and networking opportunities to foster relationships and promote the firm's expertise.High-volume event coordination, including multiple small weekly events for Lawyer networking and information sharing sessions.Schedule Lawyers’ calendars, book event locations, send invitations, collect RSVPs, arrange catering, prepare information packs, and conduct follow-up calls with attendees.Support successful delivery of 4 to 6 large events each month with external speakers, managing venue bookings and coordinating large numbers of attendees for formal catered events.Gather feedback through surveys and follow-up calls post-event to maintain engagement and build future relationships.Track and monitor events, conferences, and follow-up actions to assess effectiveness.Support the coordination of marketing materials, brochures and promotional items.Identify new opportunities for events and networking to further business development.
About you:You have prior experience in high-volume event coordination.You excel in a fast-paced environment and are adept at prioritising and meeting deadlines.You possess confident and professional communication skills and enjoy picking up the phone to speak with a range of stakeholders.A great team player with the ability to work independently and use your own initiative.Highly organised and great attention to detail.You have a passion for continuous learning and professional growth.You are flexible to work outside normal business hours to support events.A valid driver’s license and access to your own vehicle – for occasional travel around Melbourne area.
