Take a look at our website here to learn more about why we’re one of the leading Software Escrow businesses… Escode (part of NCC Group) The Opportunity:NCC Group have identified an opportunity to build out a new and exciting sales team based in Sydney to help us deliver our Software Resilience services to both existing and new customers. The desire is to significantly grow that team to take advantage of the expanding market opportunity in Australia and eventually the wider Asia Pacific region.
The Role Purpose: The purpose of the Sales Development Representative is to generate interest in our market leading portfolio of Software Resilience solutions that result in leads and opportunities being created. The Sales Development Representative (SDR) will be the prospective customer’s initial engagement point, with the goal to understand their operational resilience strategy, business objectives, and IT & Software Roadmaps. Once you have qualified a new opportunity, the assigned Account Manager will progress this through the sales cycle.
The Challenge:Our Sales Development Representatives are responsible for both generating brand new business leads and finding further opportunities with new decision-makers within our existing accounts.
Proactive outreach, achieving high daily outreach in line with KPIs set.Identifying new, high quality leads and opportunities within the existing (low-engagement) account base & new logo prospects.Researching accounts and contacts to identify key business initiatives.Adding target contacts to CRM with a high degree of data integrity.Executing personalised, multi-touch, multi-channel sales engagement cadence.Leaving detailed CRM notes.Working closely with the Account Managers to identify opportunities within a pre-defined ideal customer profile.Participating in discovery meetings with Account Managers with progressive involvement in opportunity management.Working with our Legal Operations, Technical & Finance teams to ensure a great customer experience.Delivering the customer engagement plan in the form of an ongoing daily activity & cadence plan.Creating client facing e-mails, LinkedIn messaging.
Key Competencies:Must haves:• Great ability to process information & verbalise interpretation.• Curiosity – asking further questions, diving deeper wanting to understand more.• Conscientiousness with a clear accountability for task & goal achievement.• Grit, perseverance & passion for long term goals.• Confident, pro-active & hands on.• Ability to self-motivate by setting appropriate goals.• Excellent document-writing and presentation skills.• IT literate – CRM, Microsoft Excel, Teams, and Outlook.
Desirable:· Previous B2B sales experience.· Knowledge of software industry, cloud technology
