Data Entry AdminState Government Organisation$34 per Hour + Super Data entry admin required for a 5-week temporary assignment

This Victorian State Government Organisation manages the state's water supply and is heavily involved with several priority projects for Victorians. An opportunity has come available to join this organisation in a temporary capacity.
Your new role
You will be responsible for:
Copying and Pasting Data: This involves transferring data from one source to another, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
Records Management: This includes maintaining and updating databases, ensuring that records are accurate, up-to-date, and accessible.
Data Verification: Checking the data for accuracy and errors, and correcting any discrepancies.
Reporting: Generating reports based on the data entered and presenting them in a clear and concise manner.
Confidentiality: Ensuring that sensitive information is handled with the utmost confidentiality and in compliance with privacy laws.
Administrative Support: This could include answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, and other general administrative duties.
What you'll need to succeed
As the successful candidate, you will have skills and demonstrated experience in the following:
Typing Skills: Fast and accurate typing skills, especially for copying and pasting data.Attention to Detail: Ensuring the accuracy of the data entered and for spotting and correcting errors.Organisational Skills: Managing records efficiently and keeping track of the data.Computer Literacy: Familiarity with computer systems and software (like Microsoft Office Suite)Communication Skills: Ability to provide administrative support tasks like answering phone calls and liaising with stakeholders.Confidentiality: Ability to adhere to privacy laws and company policies regarding data confidentiality.Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to troubleshoot issues that may arise during the data entry process.Multitasking: Ability to juggle multiple tasks at once, which is common in administrative settings.
