The Branding Office is a national award-winning promotional merchandise agency, offering an extensive range of branded promotional products to clients in Australia & New Zealand. We don’t just leave it there, we keep extra busy & offer event merchandise, B2B ecommerce & warehousing. We work with heaps of different people, locally, nationally & internationally across business, government, education & sporting associations.We cover both ends of the Sunny Coast with 2 showrooms, Noosa to the North & Buddina to the south. Our new role is based at our Noosa showroom, working full time Monday to Friday from 8.30am until 5.00pm (we knock off at 3.00pm on Friday). Part time is not being offered. You also get to buy swag at wholesale prices! WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:We are looking for an independent and smart worker, who can keep all our stuff sorted.You will be responsible for managing our production, warehouse & distribution function. You will:Previous experience in administration, a warehouse role or similar position will be favoured, as we want you to enhance our team, make the space your own and always on the lookout for ways to develop our systems further and improve productivity. Be responsible for receipt of all inbound & outbound branded merchandise and undertake quality control to exceptional detail. Quality Control is your domain, you will need to ensure the branded product meets QC standards and nothing slips through the cracks. You will quickly need to learn the limitations of merchandise decoration, enabling you to effectively QC product. There is heaps to learn and never a dull moment. You get to manage the production department, receipt and dispatch of merchandise to ensure that deadlines for delivery of product to our clients is meeting deadlines and expectations. You will need an understanding and previous experience with purchasing ie. purchase orders and stock reconciliation. You may have decorating experience or will learn how to operate a heat transfer machine and/or ID printers. You are going to need previous experience and be super comfortable on the computer, we don’t want to have to teach you this (Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, Word). You will be capable of quickly learning our bespoke software platform for job management. We also use Xero and its super easy, previous experience is not required, but would help you stand out a little. You may have understanding and previous experience with freight, calculating and booking with online freight suppliers. On a daily basis, you will be communicating with freight companies and/or Australia Post deliveries. This will require you to be firm and tenacious in managing our deliveries. It’s fast paced, so you are going to need to by physically & mentally capable of working quickly, staying efficient and keeping a smile on your face, all at the same time. Get on with Everyone & Be Nice:We are going to love your bright & bubbly personality, no shrinking violets on our team.We don’t do siccys, so you will have an excellent work ethic and understand the importance of your role, that we are relying on you to show up, you are running our production department, so need to be on time and ready to go with a smile on your face everyday.There are times when you will be dealing direct with our clients & suppliers, so as a representative of the business, your personal presentation will need to be high standard. You are keen to learn new skills & love a bit of a chat with our clients, suppliers & colleagues, but also know when it’s time to let them get on with their day. Lifting & Moving Things Around:In this role, you will be required to lift & move some heavy boxes around. You won’t need to be an Olympic athlete, just as long as your back & knees are okay, you will be fine.You will need to follow our OHS policy for your own health & wellbeing.We do require you to have a current drivers licence to assist with deliveries when required. WHAT A DAY AT THE BRANDING OFFICE WILL BE LIKE:Production Department This will keep you busy & where you will spend your day! You will oversee all the incoming & outgoing.Manage the distribution of our merchandise, either direct in showroom, or by drop-shipmentWork with the sales, ordering team and our suppliers for merchandise dispatch & flowInventory control, quality control and allocation of stockPack orders as requiredFind improvements in stock controlMaintain a clean and organised production department at all times, adhering to OHS policies and procedures WHY YOU WILL LOVE IT:This role will keep you busy.
